Half-blind, you read the war off orange DOS screens and fight back by spinning.

How it plays
Tug the core, then keep tugging, or its momentum bleeds to zero and you stall out.
Click the screen edges to swing between your four stations.
Grab a valve and circle your cursor around it to crank it — traverse and elevate the gun, switch shells, charge the cannon.
Line the contact up with your crosshair on the targeting screen, then spin the fire valve to shoot.
Clear a wave, then spin to pick an upgrade.
Beat wave 9 to win.
